Meet the Future of Santa Clara Women's Soccer: Ellie Glenn

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer will welcome Ellie Glenn of Avondale Estates, Ga. to the 2019 roster.

Glenn attended St. Pius X Catholic High School where she won two letters in soccer as a midfielder and one letter in track and field.

On the field, she was named all-region and all-state first team as a sophomore. On the track, Glenn was an individual cross-country champion and state runner-up in 2015.

Glenn has been a part of the US National team at the U15, U16, and U17 levels.

In the classroom, Glenn excelled throughout high school as a member of the National Honor Society two years in a row while receiving a 4.0 GPA and being honored on the President's List all four years.

She played club soccer for Tophat Soccer Club.

Glenn comes from a very athletic family. Her parents, Robert and Susie Glenn, attended Vanderbilt University, where her father played soccer. She is one of five children, all of whom played soccer and were coached by their father starting at the age of four.

Glenn plans to major in Bioengineering. She aspires to be a doctor because she is passionate about helping people and is fascinated by science. She enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family.
