No. 24 Women's Soccer Heads To Pacific Wednesday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – No. 24 Santa Clara women's soccer heads on the road for the first time during conference play to take on Pacific Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Broncos opened WCC action with a 2-2 draw against No. 4 BYU on Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is a perfect 12-0 all-time against Pacific with the first meeting coming in 1981. Last year the Broncos closed the regular season with a 7-0 Senior Day victory over the Tigers.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (6-5-1, 0-0-1 WCC) has outscored its opponents 29-17 on the season while holding a 179-112 edge in shots and an 86-62 lead in shots on target. The Broncos are 23 in the country in scoring and fourth in assists per game with 2.92.

Izzy D'Aquila leads the team with 10 goals, good four 14th in the nation, second among all freshmen and tops in the WCC, and is tied with Kelsey Turnbow with 22 points, 21st in the country. Turnbow has scored seven times with a team high eight assists, 10th nationally and first in the conference. Kelcie Hedge has added two goals and five assists with Maddy Gonzalez, Alex Loera, and Machaela George all scoring twice each. Loera, Gonzalez, Julie Doyle, and Kaitlyn Parcell have each added three assists.

Courtney Ogren has started every game in net and made 43 saves for a .717 save percentage. She has three solo shutouts and the Broncos have five as a team.

THE TIGERS
Pacific (3-8, 0-1 WCC) has been outscored 19-9 this season but holds a 144-124 advantage in shots and a 61-58 edge in shots on goal.

Isabella Pariente leads the team with four assists and six points with Kelsey Oen's two goals tops on the team. Six others have scored a goal with just two others adding an assist.

Brenna Crump has started seven games and allowed seven goals while making 26 saves for a .788 save percentage. She has one shutout this season. Weronika Baranowska has started four games and allowed 12 goals with 13 saves. She and Crump have combined for one shutout on the year, giving the Tigers two.
