No. 20 Women's Soccer Concludes Road Slate at Saint Mary's Wednesday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – No. 20 Santa Clara women's soccer goes on the road for the final time during the 2019 regular season to play at Saint Mary's Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

The Broncos took care of business in a 3-0 win over LMU Saturday to put their unbeaten streak at nine (7-0-2).

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 34-3-5 all-time against Saint Mary's with the first meeting coming in 1981. Last year the Broncos topped the Gaels 4-1 and have an 18 match (15-0-3) unbeaten streak in the series.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (11-5-2, 5-0-2 WCC) is seventh in the nation with 2.61 goals per game and has outscored opponents 47-21. The Broncos are sixth in the country with 2.72 assists per game and seventh with 7.94 points per game. They also have a 289-165 advantage in shots and a 147-91 edge in shots on goal.

Kelsey Turnbow is 19th in the country with 32 points and 15th with 10 assists while placing second on the team with 11 goals. She is three assists away from joining just seven other Broncos with at least 25 career goals and 25 career assists. Izzy D'Aquila is 19th nationally with 13 goals and 28th with 29 points. Kelcie Hedge has scored five points with six assists and Maddy Gonzalez has added five goals and four assists. Machaela George and Alex Loera have both scored three times with George picking up six assists and Loera adding three.

Courtney Ogren has started 17 games in net while posting a 1.39 GAA. She has made 59 saves had has a .738 save percentage. Ogren has teamed with Sophie Whitehouse for nine shutouts.

THE GAELS
Saint Mary's (7-9-1, 1-5-1 WCC) has been outscored on the season 31-16 while outshooting opponents 242-236 and 109-98 in shots on target.

Jaylen Crim leads the team with five goals, three assts, and 13 points. Sophie Santos has scored. Three times with Kaytlin Brinkman and Paris Fox adding two each. Jordyn Cunningham has added three assists with three others adding two apiece.

Maleah Milner has started 16 games and allowed 25 goals for a 1.65 GAA. She has 55 saves for a .688 save percentage. The Gaels have five shutouts as a team.
