SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Due to heavy rains that swept through the San Diego area this weekend, host San Diego State has announced the cancellation of the 15th annual Campbell/Cartier Classic. The Broncos, who are 6-6 on the season, were to play 19th-ranked Oregon State this morning.
Santa Clara now focuses its attention on its next opponent, California, who is currently ranked second nationally by ESPN.com and USA Softball. The Broncos will play in Berkeley on Wednesday at noon.
