SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The Santa Clara softball team was unable to get underway Saturday against Washington due to heavy rain which blanketed most of northern California. The tentative schedule for Sunday is the following:
| 8:00 a.m. | Washington vs. Santa Clara |
| 10:30 a.m. | Sacramento State vs. Washington |
| 1:00 p.m. | Sacramento State vs. Cal Poly |
| 3:30 p.m. | Cal Poly vs. Santa Clara (TBD) |
Santa Clara began their 2007 season Friday against PCSC rival Sacramento State. The Broncos received strong performances from freshmen pitchers Kaitlyn Rauschnot and Lauren Passafuime, but were unfortunate not to come away with a win.
