Santa Clara, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's softball team has announced that it will be holding walk-on tryouts for the 2006-2007 academic year. For those interested, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday, September 21st at 2:30 p.m. in the Team Room at Leavey Center.
In order to participate, individulals must be enrolled full-time during the fall quarter at Santa Clara University (minimum 12 units), and tryouts will begin on Monday, September 25th at 3:00 p.m. at the Bellomy Softball Field.
Please note that no player will be allowed to try out until they have signed liability release paperwork. Players will be responsible for providing their own equipment, including glove and cleats. Any questions should be directed to the SCU Softball Office by calling (408) 554-5063.
