AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Versatile player who
started in 44 games … started eight times at catcher, seven
at first base, 14 in right field, and 15 as the designated hitter
… scored 10 runs, and registered 26 hits … drove in
nine runs and drew seven walks … had a .914 fielding
percentage … hit .250 with the bases loaded … tied
for team-best five game hit streak from April 21 through 25
… registered four multi-hit games …went 2-for-3 with
a double against Saint Mary’s (3/5) … went 1-for-3
with a solo homerun against Princeton (3/13) … hit her
second homerun of the year against Loyola Marymount (4/24 …
had a season-high three hits with a run and two doubles against
Loyola Marymount (4/24) … in the final series of the season,
went 1-for-3 with a run scored, an RBI, a walk, and an intentional
base on balls against San Diego in May.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Started in 14 of the 33 games she
played ... had one homerun, two doubles, five hits, three runs and
eight RBI ... vs. Missouri (2/28)--stole a base ... vs. Nevada
(3/14)--hit her first career grand slam ... vs. Winthrop
(3/20)--went 1-for-3, hit a double and scored a run ... vs. Cal
Poly (3/24)--went 1-for-3, hit a double and scored a run.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of La Reina High
School in Thousand Oaks, Calif. ... played for coach Bob Cisco ...
earned all-league honors as a senior ... hit .419 for the season
... played on the USSA National Championship 16U team and was named
to the All-World team while hitting .400 ... was a member of the
National Honor Society.
