Kaitlyn Rauschnot Named PCSC Coastal Division Pitcher Of The Week

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Senior Kaitlyn Rauschnot became the third Santa Clara player to be chosen as a Pacific Coast Softball Conference Player of the Week this season, earning pitching honors for her performance this past weekend at the Stanford Invitational.

Rauschnot did not allow an earned run in 17.1 innings pitched, spanning over three appearances. She finished the weekend with a 2-1 record, allowing three unearned runs on just 14 hits and two walks. Rauschnot tallied complete-game victories over UC Santa Barbara on Saturday and Pacific on Sunday. She allowed five hits and one walk, while striking out three in posting in the 1-0 shutout decision over the Tigers. Her only loss was a 3-2 setback in 3.1 innings of relief against BYU. For the season, Rauschnot is 3-8 with a 2.86 ERA in 16 appearances, including eight starts.
