The Santa Clara University softball team will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 23, for any SCU students interested in trying out for the team. A two-day on-field tryout the following Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28-29, will follow.
The mandatory meeting will be held at 3 p.m. in the Castruccio Room behind the west side bleachers in Leavey Center. Interested students should bring their fall class schedules to the meeting.
In order to participate, individuals must be enrolled full-time during the fall quarter at Santa Clara University (minimum 12 units), have registered with the NCAA Clearing house and completed all the sport medicine forms, including the physical and medical history (http://santaclarabroncos.cstv.com/trads/sacl-sportsmedicine.html).
Each student must complete and turn in all forms on the day of the meeting. For those who attend the meeting, tryouts will take place on Bellomy Field on Sept. 28-29 at 3 p.m.
