EYEBRONCO: Bronco Weekly Sports Wrap April 11

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - In this week's edition of the Bronco Weekly Sports Wrap, co-hosts John Nash and Lauren Matheson talk the latest in Bronco athletics, including men's basketball's College Basketball Invitational presented by Buick championship. 

EYEBRONCO reporter Jessica Shusko talks to senior forward Niyi Harrison about the CBI championship and what it meant to finish his four-year career in a Bronco uniform with a post season win. Harrison was on both this year's CBI championship team and the 2011 CollegeInsider.Com Tournament (CIT) championship team. By defeating George Mason in the three-game championship series, Santa Clara became the first school to win both the CBI and the CIT.

Nash and Matheson recap the week in Bronco sports including two wins by the women's tennis squad who picked up two top-50 wins against West Coast Conference Rivals San Diego and Saint Mary's. Additionally, women's soccer bested Cal in their first spring game. Men's soccer opens its spring schedule at San Jose State on Fri., Apr. 12 at 7 p.m.

Shusko also sat down with Julia Peters and Claire Eadington of the women's water polo team to discuss the Bronco Tournament in which the team came back from a 0-2 start on Saturday to pick up two big wins on Sunday.
