AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012: Was a key part of Santa Clara’s pitching staff as a true freshman … started 13 games and was called upon in relief on 16 occasions … posted a team-leading 5.59 ERA through 29 total appearances and 85-plus innings … struck out 35 batters and won three games, including a complete-game victory over LMU (Mar. 31) in the team’s Pacific Coast Softball Conference (PCSC) opener … fanned a season-high five batters and allowed just two runs in that 6-2 victory over LMU (Mar. 31) … pitched four innings of three-hit softball in an early-season game at Fresno State (Feb. 18) … picked up her first win by pitching three solid innings of relief during an extra-inning game against Northern Colorado (Feb. 25) … also defeated Brown (Mar. 24) with three quality innings of relief … finished the year by throwing a scoreless inning at Stanford (May 1).
