Bronco Softball to Host "Pink" Game Sunday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball will host a "pink" game on Sun., April 26 at 12 p.m. vs. Saint Mary's at the Softball Field. The game will be in support of the Strikeout Cancer organization. The Broncos will be wearing pink socks and pink shoelaces and fans are encouraged to wear pink as well. 

"This is obviously a great cause," said Santa Clara head coach Lisa Mize. "It's something that is near and dear to many of our hearts. We hope our fans will join us in supporting this cause and will wear pink to the game."

Santa Clara athletics Accounting Associate Alisa Tomlinson will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Tomlinson is a breast cancer survivor.
