AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012: Started 13 games at second base, nine as the designated player and once at shortstop … got off to a great start to the season, hitting .300 through the first month of the season … homered in her fourth college at-bat, hitting a solo shot in the third inning of Santa Clara’s early-season win over St. Mary’s (Feb. 10) … went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI in a victory over Northern Colorado (Feb. 25) … enjoyed a three-game hitting streak in early March, including hitting a double against local rival San Jose State (Mar. 4) and a triple against James Madison (Mar. 7) … totaled 12 hits, including a pair of homeruns on the year in 72 at-bats.

HIGH SCHOOL: Outstanding prep infielder at Aptos High School … named an All-Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League (SCCAL) performer twice … led Aptos to co-SCCAL Championships as both a junior and senior and helped the Mariners advance into the Central Coast Section (CCS) playoffs all four years … hit in the middle of the batting order and played excellent defense for Aptos, and was honored with the team’s 'Golden Glove' and 'Most Dedicated' awards … played error-free defense as a junior and committed just two errors as a senior … competed with the San Jose Lady Sharks club program, helping that team advance to the U-16 national tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
