Van Zee started the third with a home run to left center. Gonzales allowed a single with one out but ended the inning without another run coming across.

Aguilar hit a two-run double with one down to grow the lead to six. An RBI double down the left field line got Rios out of the game in favor of McCall James who ended the inning without another run scoring.

James had retired six straight before Gano crushed a home run to left that made the score 9-1. A double by Stangel brought in Micaela Vierra in the circle for Santa Clara and she gave up an RBI double before getting out of the inning.

The Broncos went down in order in the bottom of the sixth to end the game.
