SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After taking two of three over the weekend, Santa Clara softball returns to the field for a midweek game at No. 15 Cal on Tues., April 14 at 3 p.m. before heading south for more WCC action. The Broncos will face San Diego Sat., April 18 at 12 and 2 p.m. and Sun., April 19 at 12 p.m. With two wins over Saint Mary's last weekend Santa Clara is 13-26 overall this season and 3-3 in conference play.
Santa Clara is hitting .267 (277-1039) as a team with 48 doubles, four triples, and 18 home runs. They post a 4.25 ERA with 96 strikeouts and 95 walks in 260.0 innings.

Ciara Gonzales leads Santa Clara in wins (10), ERA (3.12), innings (123.1), appearances (30), starts (21), complete games (10), shutouts (2), and strikeouts (43). Briana Rios has thrown 55.0 innings with a 4.58 ERA. Rios has appeared in 17 games and made seven starts with one complete game shutout.
