SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball released its 2017 schedule on Thursday. The Broncos will play in three tournaments at home and three on the road before the start of West Coast Conference action in April.
The regular season begins with a doubleheader against UC Davis on Feb. 11. The Broncos follow that up with the Bronco Classic (Feb. 17-19) and the Santa Clara Invitational (Feb. 24-26). They will play their first 14 games at home.
Next up Santa Clara travels to the SpringHIll Suites Classic in Boise, Idaho and the Lobo Classic in New Mexico before returning home for six games in the Santa Clara Round Robin (March 17-19).
After a trip to Santa Barbara for the Gaucho Classic II and a midweek game with Sacramento State at home, the Broncos open conference play at Saint Mary's April 8.
Santa Clara hosts LMU (April 14-15), Pacific (April 29-30), and BYU (May 5-6) for home conference action while traveling to Saint Mary's and San Diego (April 22-23). May 6 against BYU will be the regular season finale and senior day.
