SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Concluding two weeks on the road, Santa Clara softball heads to the Lobo Classic in Albuquerque hosted by New Mexico. The Broncos play Stony Brook Friday at 1o a.m., Saturday at 10 a.m., and Sunday at 9 a.m. They play the host Lobos Friday at 3 p.m., Saturday at 12:30 p.m., and Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Last week Santa Clara beat Weber State 7-4 at the SpringHill Suites Classic in Boise, Idaho but fell to Boise State, CSUN, and the Wildcats.
The Broncos are 1-0 all-time vs. Stony Brook and 2-4 all-time vs. New Mexico.

THE BRONCOS

She has appeared in eight games and made seven starts with two complete games and one shutout. Tess McPherson has tossed a team-high 49 2/3 innings in 11 games. She has made nine starts and has three complete games and two shutouts. McPherson has fanned a team-high 20.
THE SEAWOLVES
Stony Brook (1-8) is hitting .221 as a team with a .305 OBP and a .315 slugging percentage. The Seawolves have scored 22 runs with three home runs, two triples, and nine doubles.
Jourdin Hering leads the team with a .357 average. She has a double and has scored two runs. Katelyn Corr is hitting .353 with four runs scored. Sami Duffy is batting .333 with four runs scored and three RBIs. Chelsea Evans' five RBIs lead the team.
