SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball announced its 2018 schedule on Monday. It is the first season under head coach Lisa Dodd and begins Feb. 10 on the road while wrapping-up May 12 at home.
The Broncos begin the season with trips to the Hornet Round Robin (Feb. 10-11), the Stanford Nike Invitational (Feb. 23-25), the San Diego Classic I (March 2-4) that will feature a matchup with UCLA, and the ShareSLO Mustang Classic (March 9-11) before playing their first home game March 13 against Farleigh Dickinson.
Santa Clara heads right back out on the road for the Aggie Invitational (March 16-18) and Matador Classic (March 24-25) that features a pair of games with Georgia Tech. The Broncos then go to BYU (April 6-7) to start West Coast Conference play.
After a midweek game at Sacramento State (April 11), the Broncos host San Diego (April 14-15) and go to LMU (April 21-22) and Pacific (April 28-29).
The final midweek game of the season comes at Stanford (May 1) with the final series of the season featuring Saint Mary's (May 11-12) at home.
