SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Originially scheduled for a Tuesday doubleheader, Santa Clara softball will host Fairleigh Dickinson in a single game Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Last week the Broncos picked a win over Marist at the ShareSLO Mustang Classic in San Luis Obispo.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (3-17) is led on offense by Taylor Burns and her .294 batting average. She also leads the team with 11 RBIs and has four doubles and a triple to go with five runs scored. Morgan Modesto has hit a team leading five doubles and Hannah Russell has eight RBIs. Ellie Fisher leads the Broncos with 10 runs scored and 11 stolen bases.
Micaela Vierra has appeared in 15 games with eight starts and has three complete games with one shutout. She has tossed a team high 52 1/3 innings. Aubree Kim has thrown 48 innings and leads the team with 27 strikeouts. Kim has appeared in 15 games and made 10 starts.
THE KNIGHTS
Fairleigh Dickinson (4-9) is hitting .248 as a team and is led by Rea Cervantes who is batting .368 with a team high six doubles and has added seven runs and five RBIs. Serena Meehan leads the way with 11 runs scored and is hitting .343. Holly Mercier is hitting .143 but leads the Knights with seven RBIs.
Erica Johnson has a team high 34 2/3 innings pitched in seven games, including five starts and four complete games. Baylee Portis has appeared in seven games and made five starts with two complete games, covering 24 innings.

Parking: For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot, located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to first pitch. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located on Palm Drive.
