SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball's trip to the Colorado State Classic Friday through Sunday has been canceled due to poor weather in the area.
The tournament will continue with games Thursday and Friday but the Broncos are no longer participating. They were scheduled to play five games against Nebraska, Idaho State, Colorado State, and Stony Brook.
No makeup games have been announced.
Santa Clara returns to action Friday, March 8 against Weber State on the first day of the Silicon Valley Classic II, co-hosted with San Jose State.
