SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball plays a home and home series with San Jose State Friday and Saturday. The game Friday is in San Jose at 4 p.m. and Saturday's game is in Santa Clara with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Broncos began the week with a loss to Cal.
Due to current guidelines in Santa Clara County, spectators will not be permitted inside the SCU Softball Field. In addition, only essential personnel is allowed on campus. The general public is allowed only to 'pass through' campus, such as on a walk, but no lingering, gathering, lounging, etc. is permitted.

THE BRONCOS

Regan Dias has tossed a team leading 33 1/3 innings in seven games, including six starts. She has a 6.09 ERA with three complete games and one shutout. Dias also has a save. Liyah Lopez (5 2/3 innings), Zoe Straughn (5 innings), and Lauren Anderson (3 innings) have also been in the circle.
THE SPARTANS
San Jose State (3-9) is hitting .211 and has scored 30 runs. The Spartans have hit 12 doubles, a triple, and five home runs.
Alyssa Graham leads the team with a .438 average, three doubles, and five RBIs. Janessa Lozana has scored a team leading six runs and hit a team best two home runs with two doubles and four RBIs while hitting .321. Ashley Rico has a home run, five RBIs, and four runs scored.
Janessa Ullegue has tossed 30 2/3 innings, the most on the team. She has a 4.11 ERA and a 3-3 record. Carolina Bowman is 0-4 with a 7.43 ERA in 27 1/3 innings.
