FRESNO, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's tennis team opened the 2001 fall season at the Bulldog Classic, hosted by Fresno State today through Sunday.
Junior Pati Ruiz was the only Bronco to advance in the singles draw. She will face Vania Apodaca of Nevada in the third round tomorrow morning.
Results were not available for the doubles bracket of the tournament.
