STANFORD, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's tennis team concluded play at the Omni Hotels Northwest Regional Championship this afternoon.
Sophomore Christine Limbers was the last Bronco to exit the main singles draw, falling in the Round of 32 to Washington State's Stacy McKenna, seeded ninth, 6-1, 6-3.
Freshman Catherine Cochrane was the only other Bronco participating in today's action, falling to Stanford's Lizzy Bennett in the consolation Round of 32 7-6 (2), 7-5.
The event, hosted by Stanford University, continues through Sunday at the Taube Family Tennis Center.
The Broncos return to action November 16-18 at the Cal Poly Tournament in San Luis Obispo.
