Fresno, Calif. - The Bronco women's tennis team got its season underway on Friday participating in the Bulldog Classic in Fresno, Calif. Santa Clara had eight singles players in the draw and three doubles teams. Senior Casey Knutson and juniors Myra Davoudi and Lindsay McBride all won first round matches in the singles draw for the Broncos. However, no Broncos were able to make it past the Round of 32 in singles or doubles. The team will participate in consolation round matches on Saturday, Sept. 23.
