SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis continues its fall season at the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational in Moraga, California, on Oct. 7-9 at Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.

"We're just looking to continue to improve and work on some of the things we learned from last weekend," head coach Ben Cabell said. "I think we got a lot of experience at Cal. It's a short turnaround, a short week, but we're trying to take what we learned and see if we can apply it to this tournament."

The tournament commences on Friday with individuals from Saint Mary's, Stanford, California, Sacramento State, Cal Poly, Pacific, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Davis and Academy of Art. The draws can be found here.

Singles and doubles competition will be contested in three brackets each: A, B and C. All but the Doubles C bracket will also have consolation brackets.

Juniors Zeina El Tawil and Giannina Ong will compete for the Broncos along with sophomores Madison Clarke and Elizabeth Stephens. After claiming their first collegiate wins last weekend, freshmen Caitlyn Frankel and Caraline Patterson will return to action on Friday.

Clarke and Stephens will pair up for doubles action. El Tawil and Frankel make up another duo and the final pairing is Ong and Patterson.

"We're going to try some new doubles teams this week," Cabell said. "That's part of our process in the fall, working on doubles teams and finding the right pairings. I'm interested to see how these new pairings go."
