LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Santa Clara women's tennis bounced back from its loss on Friday at Pepperdine to defeat Loyola Marymount on Saturday afternoon by a score of 4-2.

Santa Clara (7-9, 2-4 WCC) claimed the doubles point against Loyola Marymount (10-7, 2-3 WCC). The Broncos started doubles action with a 6-2 win on court three from juniors Zeina El Tawil and Giannina Ong. Senior Daniella Silva and sophomore Madison Clarke clinched the win for the Broncos with a 6-3 victory on court one.

The Broncos earned singles victories on courts two, four and six to secure the win over the Lions. LMU earned two singles wins to take a 2-1 lead but Silva tied the score with her 6-3, 6-3 win on court two over Elvira Juraliova. El Tawil won 6-4, 6-3 on court four over Anna Romeka to give SCU a 3-2 lead. Ong clinched the Bronco victory with a 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Tatijana Sheikhan on court six.

The Broncos play next at San Francisco on Saturday at 3 p.m. PT.
