Women’s Tennis Set To Play At Saint Mary’s Invitational

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis will be playing in its third tournament in as many weeks this weekend when it heads to the Saint Mary's Invitational in Moraga, California.  The competition will take place Friday through Sunday at Saint Mary's College's Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.  
 
"We are looking forward to competing again after a successful tournament at Cal," said head coach Ben Cabell.  "Our freshmen are gaining valuable experience and getting better every match." 
 
The Broncos will feature an all-underclassmen squad of freshmen Nadine Del Carmen and Elvena Gevargiz along with sophomores Caitlyn Frankel and Delaney Nothaft.  
 
The 12-team field includes players from Santa Clara, California, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Pacific, Sacramento State, San Francisco, San José State, Sonoma State, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara and host Saint Mary's.
