Women’s Tennis Set For Visit To Fresno State
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis will hit the road once again when it travels to Fresno State this Sunday for a 3 p.m. match.  The trip to the Central Valley will be the Broncos (1-2) third road match of the young season.

The Broncos (1-2) split last weekend's matches, falling to 14th-ranked Cal, 5-2, in Berkeley before beating CSUN, 4-1, at home.

On the season, Madison Clarke, Elvena Gevargiz and Maddie Pothoff each are 2-1 in singles play.  Pothoff also has the lone doubles win for the Broncos paired up with Katya Tabachnik.

Fresno State (1-4) has lost its last four matches but three of those have come against top-25 teams, ninth-ranked Duke, 20th-ranked LSU and 24th-ranked Washington, all at the ITA Kick Off Weekend.  The Bulldogs' win came at home against Sacramento State back on Jan. 20.
