Women’s Tennis Lose, 4-0, At Saint Mary’s
MORAGA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis lost 4-0 to Saint Mary's in a West Coast Conference match on Saturday afternoon at the Timothy Korth Tennis Courts.  
 
Saint Mary's (8-5, 2-0 WCC) clinched the doubles point on court No. 2 when Kareena Manji and Emma Critser defeated the Bronco freshman duo of Katya Tabachnik and Elvena Gevargiz, 6-3.  
 
In singles play, the Gaels won on courts No. 6, 4, and 5 to sweep the Broncos (6-6, 1-1 WCC).  
 
Playing on court No. 5, Critser beat Tabachnik, 6-0, 6-2 to clinch the match for the Gaels.  
 
Santa Clara will play its first home conference match on Friday when it hosts Portland before welcoming Gonzaga on Saturday.  First serve for both matches are at Noon PT.
