Maddie Pothoff of Women’s Tennis in ITA Preseason Ranking
 
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis player Maddie Pothoff enters the 2018 season ranked No. 110 in the Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I Women's Preseason National Rankings in singles. 
 
A second team All-West Coast Conference selection in both singles and doubles last season, Pothoff was ranked for four consecutive weeks reaching as high as No. 102.   The Tucson, Arizona native finished the 2017-18 season with an overall singles record of 16-9, including a 12-6 dual season record, winning 10 straight singles matches at one point.  
 
The junior right-hander is the first Bronco to be ranked in the preseason since Katie Le opened the 2014 season ranked No. 20.  
 
Pothoff will make her 2018 fall debut this Friday at the Cal Fall Invitational in Berkeley, California.
