FULLERTON, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis concluded play at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Invitational with a pair of doubles wins on Sunday.  The Broncos faced doubles teams from Arizona and Pacific in the hidden dual match format tournament, winning two of the three matches.

Sophomore Elvena Gevargiz teamed up with junior Maddie Pothoff for the second consecutive day and earned a victory over Arizona's Sophia Thomas and Csenge Furak, 6-3.   For Gevargiz, it was her third doubles win of the tournament to lead the team.

The freshmen duo of Jamie Schroer and Lindsey Pesqueira picked up the other doubles victory for the Broncos, downing Pacific's Sabrina Rodriguez and Georgia Townsent, 6-0.

The Broncos finished the tournament with a 5-4 record in doubles.  While Santa Clara had a winning singles record in the first two days of the tournament going 4-3 each day, they struggled on Sunday, losing all seven matches against Denver.

Pesqueira had the lone three set match, falling to Hannah Templeton, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.
