SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis hosts Princeton on Tuesday at the Degheri Tennis Center in the second of a five-match home stand.  First serve is at 1 p.m.  Note: the start time has been changed to 2 p.m. due to the overnight rain.

The Broncos (1-0) handily beat Dominican last Saturday to kick off the dual match season with a win.

"It was a good start for us to just get back on the court for a match, go through our routine and play well," said Broncos head coach Ben Cabell.  "It was nice for our two freshmen, Jamie Schroer and Lindsey Pesqueira, to get a couple of wins under their belts.  But we will definitely have a stiffer challenge on Tuesday."

Princeton (1-1) will make a three-match trip to the Bay Area before its spring semester classes begin next week.  The Tigers face the Broncos on Tuesday, followed by Stanford on Thursday before finishing with San Francisco on Friday.

The Tigers feature the No. 67 ITA-ranked singles player in Stephanie Schrage.

"Princeton is a good team and this is how we get better.  But playing them outdoors on our home court gives us a good chance of beating them.  The match will tell us where we are at and what we need to work on," said Cabell.

This season, live streaming is available for all Santa Clara home tennis matches  on each of the six courts as fans can follow the action live on https://www.santaclarabroncos.com/livetennis
