STANFORD, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis concluded play at the ITA Northwest Regional Championship where they picked up five singles and three doubles wins over Friday and Saturday at the Taube Tennis Center on the campus of Stanford University.
In the main draw, JennaMarie Gordon, Finley Kalinic and Varya Zlotnik each won their opening round of 128 singles matches before faltering in the round of 64.
Lindsey Pesqueira and Kacey Feng were also victorious in their opening round of the invitational bracket before losing in the quarterfinal round.
In the doubles main draw, the doubles teams of Kalinic and Gordon, Zlotnik and Velizara Fileva, plus Katherine Petty and Giulia Hayer each claimed a win in the opening round of 64 but fell in the next round.
