SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's tennis won the first six team points to roll past New Mexico, 6-1, on Saturday at the Degheri Tennis Center to extend their win streak to four matches.
Finley Kalinic, JennaMarie Gordon, Giulia Hayer and Katherine Petty each won their doubles and singles matches as the Broncos (5-3) dominated play from the get go against the Lobos (9-2) who entered the match having won six-straight.
The Broncos made quick work in doubles play with Finley Kalinic and JennaMarie Gordon defeating Hsuan Huang and Sarah O'Connor 6-1 on court two to get things started. The doubles point clincher came on court one when Giulia Hayer and Katherine Petty beat Yue Lin Chen and Myu Kageyama, 6-2.
Santa Clara continued their momentum into singles action winning the first five matches with the match clincher coming atop the lineup where Kalinic downed Chen 6-4, 7-5.

The Broncos next play on March 21 and 22, heading down to San Luis Obispo to take on Seattle University in a neutral site match before facing host, Cal Poly.
