Allie Will was hired on July, 2023 as the Santa Clara University head women's tennis coach.
Will joins the Broncos after serving as an assistant coach during the 2022-23 season with the Saint Mary’s women’s tennis program and previously held the same position at Solano Community College and Santa Rosa Community College, for both the men’s and women’s squads. In 2018 and 2022, she was named men’s and women’s tennis ITA Assistant Coach of the Year.
She began her coaching career as a volunteer assistant at her alma mater, the University of Florida, in 2015 where she was a six-time All-American and three-time All-Southeastern Conference selection including being named SEC Player of the Year in 2011. Will led the Gators to back-to-back NCAA Division I championships in 2011 and 2012.
The Boca Raton, Florida native compiled an impressive 109-13 overall record in singles (67-5 in dual matches) and went 93-18 in overall doubles (62-10 dual) while reaching first in both the ITA singles (eight times) and doubles (seven times) rankings during her three seasons on the Gainesville campus.
In 2010, she was one of three collegiate women selected to represent the United States Master’U BNP Paribas, an international collegiate competition held in France.
A two-time SEC academic honor roll member, she is the only Florida Gator ever to be seeded number one in the NCAA singles and doubles championships.
After completing her collegiate playing career, Will embarked on a two-year professional career winning 11 ITF doubles championships and climbing as high as 98th and 280th in the WTA doubles and singles rankings, respectively, before joining the coaching ranks.
Will graduated from Florida with a bachelor of science degree in journalism and communication – telecommunications production.
