For the season Potter is averaging 4.98 kills and 2.88 digs per game and has led the Broncos to their highest-ever national ranking at No. 14 in the AVCA/Coaches Poll. Santa Clara is also currently ranked No. 13 in the Volleyball Magazine poll.

The player of the week honor is the third of the season for Potter and comes just days after being named the WCC Player of the Month for September. She is a two-time All-WCC selection and was named the WCC Freshman of the Year in 2000. In addition to her play on the court, Potter has turned many heads in the classroom as well, maintaining a 3.24 overall GPA in Mathematics.

The Broncos will continue WCC play this weekend at Gonzaga on Friday and at Portland on Saturday. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m. starts.
