THE BRONCOS

Santa Clara swept San Francisco for the second time in as many matches this season 25-19, 25-12, 25-14 Thursday night in the Leavey Center. The Broncos used an early run in all three sets to take command of the West Coast Conference match en route to their sixth straight win at home.

Clayton ranks first in the WCC with 0.48 aces/set and Rottman ranks first in the WCC with 4.88 digs/set.

THE SENIORS

GiGi Cresto has played in 75 matches and 212 sets in her three years with Santa Clara volleyball. She has appeared in all 27 matches of the 2015 season. The San Diego native has a service ace in seven different matches this year, and led all players with 27 assists in a sweep of Cal State Fullerton on September 5th.

In 2013, Cresto finished second on the team with 121 assists. She was named to the West Coast Conference's All-Academic First Team in 2014. Her match-clinching aces capped off Bronco sweeps of Gonzaga and San Francisco last season.

Lacey Maas has played in 69 matches and 178 sets in four seasons with the Broncos. This season, she is tied for second in the West Coast Conference with 1.3 blocks/set and ranks second on Santa Clara with 83 blocks overall.

The Castro Valley native has recorded 92 kills, 10 blocks solo and 73 block assists for the Broncos. In her last six matches, Maas is hitting .576 with 32 kills and 38 total blocks, while committing only four attack errors in that span. She has started 29 matches for the Broncos in the last two seasons, including 14 straight entering the week.

Danielle Rottman has played in 100 matches and 320 sets in four years with the Broncos. She has appeared in all of Santa Clara's 57 matches over the last two years and played in 202 of the team's 205 sets during her junior and senior seasons. Rottman played in her 100th career match November 5th against San Francisco.

The Santa Barbara native leads the Broncos and the West Coast Conference with 439 digs and 4.88 digs/set average in 2015. She recorded 34 digs in an October 31st contest at Portland, the third most in a single match in program history. Her 34 digs were also the most in a single match since 2005.

Rottman's 527 digs and 4.71 digs/set average in 2014 were both the second-best marks in program history for a single season.

THE LIONS

LMU has won five straight matches and 10 of its last 11 contests overall. The Lions are one of four WCC teams (BYU, San Diego, Santa Clara) to reach the double-digit win mark in WCC action this season. LMU defeated the Broncos 3-2 earlier this year in Los Angeles, and is 7-3 in five-set matches this season.
