Volleyball To Host Nevada in Open-Door Scrimmage on Friday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Exactly one week from its 2018 season-opening match, Santa Clara volleyball is set to face Nevada in a scrimmage on Friday. The Broncos and Wolf Pack meet for a 3 p.m. first serve in Leavey Center. Admission is free, giving fans a chance to see the new-look Santa Clara team for the first time this year. 

The Broncos begin regular season play the following Friday, Aug. 24, at Idaho. They take on New Mexico and Grand Canyon on Aug. 25 in the Vandal-hosted Idaho Volleyball Classic. Santa Clara's first home match of the regular season is Aug. 28 against Sacramento State. 

PARKING 

All parking facilities on campus are subject to daily rates and restrictions, including the Leavey Center lot (located on Accolti way off El Camino Real) and the main structure (located adjacent to Stevens Stadium on Palm Drive). Click here for a campus map and parking restrictions.

VENUE INFORMATION

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. (30 minutes prior to first serve). There will not be food/drink concessions. No outside food/drink is permitted in Leavey Center. Attendees are asked to vacate Leavey Center immediately following the conclusion of the scrimmage.
