
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara volleyball announces the first member of its incoming recruiting class for the 2019-20 season, Julia Sangiacomo. She joins the Broncos from Justin-Siena High School in Napa, California. Sangiacomo is a three-time Napa County Player of the Year and one of the most decorated players in Justin-Siena's history.
Sangiacomo tallied more than 1,000 career kills for the Braves in addition to being a standout in the classroom with a 4.5 GPA. She is a member of the Marin County-based Absolute Volleyball Club. Sangiacomo will become a fourth-generation Bronco, as her parents, grandparents and great-grandparents all attended Santa Clara.
