NOTES
- Santa Clara saw its three-match winning streak snapped in Saturday's loss at Pepperdine. Heading into the season finale, the Broncos have won seven of their last 11 outings, including handing Pacific a 3-1 loss in their first meeting of the year.
- The Tigers have won six of their last eight matches, including an impresssive 3-1 victory over No. 23 San Diego on Saturday.
- Julia Sangiacomo recorded her 1,000th kill in the opening set of last week's win against Gonzaga. She posted one of her six double-doubles of the season against Pacific with 17 kills and a season-high 15 digs.
- Seven of Santa Clara's losses have come against top 25 foes (Oregon, Pepperdine - twice, BYU - twice, San Diego- twice). Three of the program's setbacks in WCC play occurred in five sets - to Pepperdine at home (Sept. 25), at Saint Mary's (Sept. 28) and at home vs. the Gaels (Oct. 23).
- The Broncos rank second in service aces per set (1.76), fifth in hitting percentage (.225) and sixth in kills per set (12.29) in the WCC.
- Sangiacomo (3.76), Michelle Shaffer (3.16) and Sophia Tulino (3.07) and rank fourth, ninth and 10th, respectively, in the conference in kills per set.
- Shaffer (0.42) and Anna Stucchi (0.39) rank second and third, respectively, in the WCC in service aces per set.
- Kat Georgiadis is fourth in the league at 4.07 digs per set and Nive Tuileta (9.64) ranks fourth in assists per set.
SERIES HISTORY
- Pacific leads the all-time series with Santa Clara by a 30-13 margin. The first meeting occurred 1975. The teams split two matches during the 2020 season that was postponed until last spring and the Broncos won at home last month.
