SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After a successful season in the pool, Santa Clara women's water polo had seven players honored by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (WCWPC) for their work in the classroom with All-Academic Awards.
Ashleigh Bandimere, Makena Pezzuto and Alison Norris were named to the Superior list for a GPA between 3.41 and 3.70. June Afshar, Jennifer Anderson, Erin Sheridan and Jamie Swartz were honored as Excellent for a GPA between 3.20 and 3.40.
Bandimere, Pezzuto, Norris, Anderson and Sheridan were also named to the WWPA All-Academic team in June.
