SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's water polo closes out the regular season this weekend on the road by facing a pair of top 15-ranked programs.

The Broncos face the ninth-ranked Pacific Tigers on Saturday at noon in a Golden Coast Conference contest and the No. 13 UC Davis Aggies the next day at noon.

Santa Clara (8-17, 3-3) won a pair of GCC matchups last week to move into a tie for fourth in the standings.

Hannah Buck, the reigning GCC Player of the Week, and Annie Eldredge scored three goals apiece to lead a balanced offensive attack in Santa Clara's 14-8 victory over Concordia on Wednesday.

Maggie Oys scored the go-ahead goal with less than two minutes to go in Thursday's 7-6 win against 25th-ranked Cal Baptist. Buck, who has scored in nine straight games, tallied a game-high tying three goals while Eldredge scored once and tallied three assists for the Broncos.

Eldredge has been one of the hottest Broncos, posting seven goals, two assists and six steals in the last three games. She is second on the team with 26 goals, trailing only Buck who has 39.

Pacific (16-8, 5-1), which is second in the conference standings, has won six of its last seven contests.

After winning five in a row, UC Davis (14-16) has dropped its last three, but all to teams ranked among the top 20 in the nation.
