Golden Coast Conference Championship Central
LOS ANGELES – Seeding for the Golden Coast Conference Women's Water Polo Championship has been finalized.
Seventh-seeded Santa Clara (8-16, 1-6) will play No. 2 seed San Diego State at the three-day tournament that kicks off Friday at Fresno State. The Broncos and Aztecs (15-14, 5-2) will face off at 3:15 p.m. in Fresno State Aquatics Center.
Pacific (14-8, 7-0), which knocked off the Broncos Saturday, is the top seed in the eight-team tournament.
The winner of the Santa Clara-SDSU contest and the game between No. 3 seed LMU (19-9, 5-2) and sixth-seeded Cal Baptist (14-16, 2-5) will face off in one of Saturday's semifinals.
The final is set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the winner advance to the NCAAs.
