Lauren Redman is in her fourth year at Santa Clara, her first as Assistant Athletic Director, Academics and Student Development in 2022-23. She currently serves as the academic advisor for baseball, softball, volleyball, beach volleyball, and men's/women's cross country/track & field. In addition to her advising role, she oversees the Bronco Bridge Program to support freshmen student-athletes in their transition to Santa Clara and serves as co-advisor of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). 

During her first three years at Santa Clara, Redman served as an academic advisor for 175 student-athletes across six teams, including women’s basketball, baseball, men's/women's cross country/track & field and men's/women's water polo. In her role as academic advisor, she provided support through course scheduling and registration, graduation planning, major exploration, connecting students to academic resources, and ensuring students were on track to meet academic eligibility benchmarks. She supported the women’s basketball team in earning their highest GPA in recent history (3.719 in Fall 2021).

Prior to her time at Santa Clara, Redman spent three years at Cal State Dominguez Hills as the Athletics Student Success Coordinator where she oversaw academic support and advising for all nine teams, and created the department’s life skills program. She received a master's degree in Postsecondary Administration & Student Affairs from USC in 2016 and bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Early Childhood & Family Studies from the University of Washington in 2014. Redman is a Seattle native, but currently resides in Mountain View with her fiancé, Jay, and beloved cat, Chewie.
