Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
The Santa Clara University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a dynamic group of student-athletes dedicated to providing a voice for the interests and concerns of the student-athletes. SAAC provides feedback and insight into athletics department policies and proposed NCAA and West Coast Conference (WCC) legislation. Additionally, SAAC strives to foster camaraderie and unity between student-athletes, the athletics department, and the university community. Some areas SAAC focuses on include: academics, community service, university relations, student-athlete welfare, sportsmanship, leadership development, career services, civic engagement and DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion). SAAC hosts annual events in the areas of Anti-Racism, Faculty Appreciation, Sustainability and Wellness.
