SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Shortly after wrapping up its fall slate, Santa Clara baseball announced its incoming class of National Letter of Intent recruits for the 2016-17 season Monday. This is the fifth recruiting class under head coach Dan O'Brien.
Beginning next Monday, the Broncos will highlight one player per week as part of the class of 2020. The first of those seven players is right-handed pitcher Brandon Buckley, a Marin Catholic High School product from Tiburon, Calif.
"When we talk about this great class that Coach Ribas and Coach Beau have worked so hard to bring in, we could easily talk about their talent alone, but instead we find ourselves talking about their families, personalities, make-up and work ethic," O'Brien said. "This is a very special class coming in and we couldn't be more excited for the future of Bronco Baseball."
Go Broncos!
