SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball wraps up its three-game road trip Saturday at 4 p.m. at local rival San Jose State.

The Broncos dropped an 80-53 game at Fresno State on Wednesday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 28-25 all-time against San Jose State with the first meeting coming in 1963-64. Last year the Spartans won a wild overtime game at Leavey Center.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (5-4) is on a three-game skid after starting the season 5-1. The Broncos are shooting 38.5-percent from the field and being outscored 61.6-58.1.

Tia Hay leads the team with 13.0 points per game, 2.1 steals per game, and 2.2 assists per game while  adding 3.2 rebounds per game. Ashlyn Herlihy is scoring 9.8 ppg with 6.6 rpg, both second on the team. Lauren Yearwood's 3.0 blocks per game are tied for fourth in the nation and her 7.3 rpg are tops on the team. Emily Wolph has made a team-high 14 3-pointers and is scoring 7.8 ppg.

THE SPARTANS
San Jose State (1-7) has lost four in a row since picking up its lone win of the season vs. Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 24. The Spartans are being outscored 80.9-65.2 on the year.

Cydni Lewis scores 11.6 ppg and grabs 5.8 rpg to lead the team in both categories. Raziya Potter is second with 10.0 ppg and Analys Benally's18 3-pointers are a team-high. Danae Marquez dishes out a team-leading 4.8 apg while scoring 7.4 ppg.
