SANTA CLARA, Calif. – A three-game road trip wraps-up for Santa Clara women's basketball Saturday at LMU at 1 p.m.

The Broncos opened the week with a defeat at Pepperdine Thursday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 47-26 all-time against LMU with the first meeting coming in 1984-85. Last year, the Lions won both meetings between the teams.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (8-7, 1-3 WCC) is third in the WCC in defense, allowing 61.1 points per game while forcing 15.8 turnovers per game. Offensively, the Broncos score 58.1 ppg on 38.9-percent shooting from the field.

Tia Hay's 14.5 ppg lead the team and she is also tops on the roster with 2.9 assists per game, 2.2 steals per game, and 23 3-pointers made. Ashlyn Herlihy is second in scoring (9.1 ppg) and rebounding (6.9 pg) while playing a team-high 32.3 minutes per game. Lauren Yearwood is 15th in the country with 2.6 blocks per game and leads Santa Clara with 7.6 rpg while scoring 6.1 ppg. Lindsey VanAllen is scoring 6.7 ppg with Emily Wolph adding 6.4.

THE LIONS
LMU (10-7, 3-2 WCC) is scoring 62.2 ppg while allowing 62.9. The Lions shoot 38.5-percent from the floor but just 28.0-percent from beyond the arc.

Chelsey Gipson is scoring a team-high 14.9 ppg with Gabby Green adding 14.7. Green also adds 6.2 rpg, second on the team, and has a team-high 2.8 spg. Andee Velasco's 4.2 are tops on the roster and she scores 5.8 ppg as well. Bree Alford leads LMU with 8.4 rpg and scores 6.8 ppg.
