Sam Dines was hired in September 2021 and in his second season as video coordinator.
Dines graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 2018 and joins Santa Clara after an expansive career path in which he worked in professional beach volleyball, television production, and large-scale construction management.
While at Cal Poly, Dines was president of the men's club basketball team and a student assistant coach with the women's NCAA beach volleyball program.
Dines attended Sir Francis Drake High School (now Archie Williams High School) where he captained the varsity soccer, basketball, and volleyball teams.
He is pursuing an MS in finance and analytics from Santa Clara.
While off the court or outside the classroom, Dines enjoys spending his time hiking, camping, and exploring new places.
