Casey Volta finished her fourth year as director of operations for women's basketball at Santa Clara in 2019-20.
Volta graduated from Cal State Monterey Bay in December 2016 with a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in health and wellness.
From 2012-16 Volta was the team manager for the CSU Monterey Bay men’s basketball team. In that role, she worked closely with the coaches and helped with scouting reports while also organizing the travel of the team.
Her start in athletic management came in high school when she was the men’s varsity manager at St. Francis from 2009-12. She also took part in the St. Francis High School Sports and Activity Camp as a teach and coach from 2009-15.
Volta’s father Chris was a pitcher and played baseball at Santa Clara from 1987-90. Her sister Ashley Koepplin and cousin Lindsey Sanford also graduated from SCU.
Volta, the youngest of four sisters, was born and raised in Santa Clara, Calif.
